TSAP 2022 Annual Conference & Academic Seminar
Holistic Care in the Post-Epidemic Era – Connections, Competence, Count, Courage
Description of the Concept of Seminar “Holistic Care in the Post-Epidemic Era – Connections, Competence, Count, Courage”
After the pandemic, we all appeared changed, yet fundamentally unchanged. We continued to breathe, move, eat, laugh, and live our lives as we always had, but there was a subtle shift in our being. It was as if our hope for the future had diminished, while our faith in people had grown stronger.
During the pandemic, we faced a dilemma between embracing change and maintaining the status quo. While we reduced physical interactions with others, we strengthened our spiritual connections. We abandoned traditional methods of learning but enhanced our proficiency with technology. Amidst the turmoil and uncertainty, we redefined the value of life and explored the essence of relationships. Through experiences of loss and gain, and amidst change and constancy, we found greater courage. Courage is the power to uphold faith despite uncertainty.
The TSAP 2022 conference will center around the theme of “Holistic Care in the Post-Epidemic Era: Connections, Competence, Count, and Courage.” We are honored to have Dr. Betty Lou Bettner, the founder of the 4Cs, as our special guest speaker.
The conference will also examine the influence of technological advancements on mental health and address potential parenting challenges in the digital age. Additionally, workshops will be dedicated to trauma care for frontline police officers and firefighters during epidemics.
TSAP warmly invites you to join us for an online meeting. Let’s transcend the constraints of distance and geography, and approach each other from a comprehensive perspective of individual psychology. In an ever-evolving environment, we aim to foster mutual support by integrating traditional and contemporary concepts such as “connection,” “capacity,” “count,” and “courage.” Together, we will explore the essence of self-care and Adlerian philosophy in the post-pandemic era.
Dates: March 12, 2022 (Saturday) 17:30 – 21:00, March 13, 2022 (Sunday) 08:30 16:45
